ACTION was the answer to our prayers for a family. The process took a little longer than a normal pregnancy, but it was
worth the wait. The staff at ACTION was so dedicated and hard working,
they didn’t give up until they found a family for us. It was a long drive from Cincinnati every Friday night during
rush hour, but every minute we spent in the car was worth the outcome. We went from having no children to an instant family
with four children – two boys and two girls. After our first meeting with Pat and Sheila we knew they would help us
have the family we wanted for so long. God bless ACTION! The Szary Family John, Shari, Jerred, Mikka, John, Jr (Bubba) & Monni

If we were to begin singing the praises of ACTION Adoption Agency we would need to sing so very loud and hard. When we got the call that there
was a little boy, 5 years old, it was nice. But, we wanted a girl. The agency continued, “nice little guy, cute as a
button, green eyes,” then she said, “red hair.” I knew we had to see this little one. When we pulled up
in front of his foster home and he peeked out the window at us, we knew he was ours. It was like God tapped on our shoulder
and said, “He is for you.” Our little man has just moved into our hearts, our home, and our every minute. Thanks
to ACTION our lives are so blessed. The days and nights just seem to fly
by as he grows more and more precious to our whole family. ACTION is top
of the line – professional workers, compassionate friends, and the answer to our prayers. The Brown Family
After the county mislead my wife and I regarding the possibility
of adopting a child from them we were very frustrated and figured we were wasting our time. My wife found the newspaper ad
for Pat Hill and ACTION Adoption and two days later we were in Pat’s office looking
at pictures of thousands of children available for adoption throughout the United States. Pat Hill wasted no time in inquiring
about children we were interested in adopting. Pat kept us abreast of developments in and helped us keep our expectations
in perspective during the whole adoption process. Before we knew it we were in Portland, Oregon picking up our two beautiful
daughters. Before you get discouraged with the whole adoption process, give Pat a call. If anyone can help you with your dreams
– she can! Brian & Jenny Chretsoff
Hi. I'm Tracie. My husband John
and I have been with ACTION for almost four years. That's hard to believe. Boy is my life different now. John and I got married a little later in life. I was 33 and he was 38. We knew
that if we wanted children we had no time to waste. We tried for 3 years to get pregnant. I took hormones
which made me a monster. We tried artificial insemination twice. It was an emotional roller coaster. Finally,
I prayed that if this was not meant to be that God would take the desire out of my heart. It's funny to think
that this whole time I already had children - I just hadn't met them yet.
John was adopted as an infant so it is something we talked about before we got married. I looked up ACTION in the
phone book - and we started a whole other emotional roller coater ride. I will never forget walking into their
building the very first time and seeing the walls covered with pictures of children that had been adopted through ACTION.
My heart melted and I knew that this is where I was suppose to be.
We started the home study process. Pat and Mary made us feel welcome right away. Everyone was awesome. After
we completed our training we joined the support group which was such a blessing. My friends and family were supportive
but no one understood the pain I was going through. The group is made of families waiting for children and
also families who had already received children. It is a safe place to vent. It gave me hope. It took about a year and a half to get our girls, Jasmine (10) and Cheyenne (6). They
were 7 and 3 at the time. I can't believe how time has flown by. I always thought that I was a pretty
active person before kids but now I have no idea what I did all day. Last November we adopted a son, Eli (11). I
know that without a shadow of a doubt I could not love a biological child more than these. They drive me nuts sometimes,
but I couldn't imagine my life without them. It's hard to even think of what life was like before them.
I thank God for them every day. ACTION made me a Mom. They
are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have no words to describe my gratitude. We would
like to adopt again, but I know that whatever happens it is God's will. There are so many children out there
that need homes. I would keep adopting more and more but John won't let me :) Pat, Mary, Cissie, Angela
- everyone at ACTION. Thank you so much. I love you all. The Pohl Family

We love ACTION!!
And, ‘action’ was what they took! After talking and starting paperwork we had our little punkin’ in 8months
(straight from the hospital). Each and every person at ACTION that we
became acquainted with was so wonderful to help us when we had questions. We highly recommend them to anyone! We have experienced
some other agencies and none of them will hold up to ACTION! They are
soooo good! The help and support didn’t stop when the adoption was final, either. John & Marti Ledington

My husband and I feared that foster care was our only option when
we began looking to adopt. It wasn’t until we found ACTION that
we realized we could be placed with children who were already available for adoption. We believe God used ACTION to unite us with our three beautiful children – then ages 2, 4, 5. Although it doesn’t
always happen this fast, just two months after our training we were picked to be their ‘forever parents.’ We highly
recommend ACTION to other families and look forward to working with them
again in the future. The Divens Family
Pat, Sheila and the staff at ACTION
helped bring our vision to a reality. They were particularly great at sharing our enthusiasm, leading us through ‘the
process’ and understanding when we had moments of doubt. Thanks to ACTION, we have
two terrific boys filling our lives with football helmets, basketballs, Nintendo, piano lessons, homework and love. People
ask us, “Are they brothers?” And we answer, “They are now!” Thanks, ACTION!

Our journey of four years took us through a public county agency that was filled with ups and downs, disappointments,
broken promises and several years of foster care that never led to an adoption. A twist of events led us to a new friend
and her suggestion to come to Action's support group on Friday night. Skeptical and disheartened, we attended by
her invitation. We were impressed, but still reserved even after seeing and hearing so many success stories that night.
That was October 2006. We attended two more support groups, and received so much encouragement from the staff at Action,
decided to pursue our forever family. By January 2007 our homestudy was on it's way, and the children we destined
to parent were very close to becoming reality. By March 2007 we had been selected to adopt four children. This
journey would have never ended so happily if the wonderful staff at Action hadn't given us the encouragement and support
needed to hang in there. We now know God blessed us with the children we were meant to have, and encourage others
to pursue their forever family through Action Adoption.
